Ditching Diets “Lifestyle” Pledge

How many times have you had losing weight as your New Year’s Resolution? Do you need to borrow more hands to count? No worries you’re not alone.

I’m sure the top New Year’s Resolution is to lose weight but this year it will NOT be yours. The reason is, is because you are going to start TODAY to lead a healthier lifestyle. No matter what day you are reading this you will NOT wait until Monday or The New Year!

To help you stay focused I have created a Ditching Diets Lifestyle Pledge for you to print and sign and hang on your refrigerator. Shrink it down to size and make little pledge cards out of it to keep in your car and in your wallet as a reminder of the NEW lifestyle that you are leading. That way when you go to pay for those .99 fries and reach in your wallet you apologetically explain to the cashier that you left your money in the car and rush to your car and speed off!

Take the pledge and start a healthier lifestyle TODAY! You don’t have to make drastic changes, as long as you just get started. If you choose to follow a “diet” then commit to making it a lifestyle change and not just for 10, 30 or 90 days. At the end of that set time frame you might be looking for the next quick fix.

Along with printing the pledge set small realistic goals that you want to improve such as:

  • Drink more water
  • Exercise daily
  • Take a multivitamin
  • Eat more vegetables
  • Limit/eliminate empty liquid calories
  • Reduce my sugar intake
